INSPIRATION
This project as all JLC’s
activities is inspired by our kind
and precious spiritual guide,
Venerable Geshe Keslang Gyatso.
A fully accomplished meditation
master and author of 21
internationally acclaimed books.
Due to his kindness we will be
able to offer local people
this unique place of refuge.
THE PROJECT
In the Spring months at JLC your meditation room will be
extended to accommodate another 40 people.
As a result many more people will have the good fortune
to attend classes, retreats and other special events.
JLC attracts people from all over the West Midlands -
seeking peace & stillness in this busy world.
The Meditation room will be extended, totally re-decorated and
beautified - with gold being offered to the large Buddha
statue, new doors for the cabinet, beautiful
new lights and adornments.
OFFICiAL OPENING
Everyone is welcome to the offical opening of the new
meditation room on Friday 9th May at 7.30pm with Gen-la
Kelsang Khyenrab; Deputy Spiritual Director of The New
Kadampa Tradition, & Resident Teacher
at Manjushri Centre.
On Saturday 10th May: 10-5pm
Gen-la Keslang Khyenrab will give a day meditation
course entitled ‘Introduction to Wisdom’.
This weekend will be a very
special and rare opportunity.
