LEARN TO MEDITATE THIS SUMMER...

During the Summer months why not take the opportunity to learn the relaxing art of Meditation bringing countless benefits immediately into your life.
More and more people within the modern world are experiencing for themselves how through attending a weekly meditation class they can reduce their stress, increase their happiness and improve their relationships with family and friends.
Summer is a time for relaxation, taking a holiday, looking back on the year and making postive decisions about the rest of our life.
The courses, workshops and retreats that we have on offer can help you move and change in the right direction.
The practise of Meditation is often referred to as ' a holiday for the mind'. A special, profound way of letting go of the stress and strain of a busy lifestlye.
Often when we return from an ordinary holiday we can still feel dissatisfied and unrested - many people comment when they return from a Meditation Retreat or workshop how refreshed, revived and relaxed they feel.
With our mind more concentrated we can be confident to follow pathways that leasd to happiness in the future.
The highlight of the summer months is an annual International Kadampa Festival located in the delightful setting of Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre led by the great Meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Everyone is welcome to attend these special two weeks of teachings
on Universal Compassion.
Planning for the autumn why not take the opprotunity to enrol on one of the series of beginners classes starting in September.
If you would like to take further your studies The Foudation Programme is a starting a new book on August 31st; an ideal opportunity to join these wonderful sessions - making your Sunday's meaningful & starting the week with a clear and peaceful frame of mind.

A Summers Day for Everybody
The Black Country Summer Fayre 2008 was held in Mary MacArthur Gardens, Cradley Heath. A fitting location for the first of what appears will become a happy annual event within the local area.
With the timely, dramatic backdrop of the demolition of Cradley Print - a 150 yr old industrial enterprise which has dominated the towns landscape – the Summer Fayre marked the beginning of a new era for the town.
Many people from all walks of life gathered & enjoyed the day including Sylvia Heath MP for Halesowen South. Local police on mountain bikes passed by and enjoyed the peaceful ambience of the event.
The fayre provided an opportunity for Jangchub Ling Buddhist Centre to open its doors to the wider community – the registered charity which has been established in the local area for almost 4 years revealed to the general public its kindness, hospitality and dedication to public service.
