Meditations from the Buddhist tradition for everyone. Classes consist of guided meditations and advice on how to use meditation to find calm in our busy daily lives.
Week 1 – 24th February – Freedom
Freedom begins in the mind, in being able to see opportunities in all situations. Learn how meditation can help you do exactly that.
Week 2 – 3rd March – Self Control
Because freedom begins in the mind it is necessary to be able to direct our mind towards peaceful states. We do this using mindfulness and alertness. These will be explained and explored in this class.
Week 3 – 10th March – Opportunity
In order to take advantage of our opportunity to free our mind we need to see that opportunity very clearly. The meditations in this class will help us do this, increasing our sense of good fortune regardless of our external circumstances.
Week 4 – 17th March – Prioritising Peace
Taking the most from every moment of life is something we all desire and we can do this using the meditations explored here.
Week 5 – 24th March – Guidance
We need help and support in all our activities, and meditation is no different. Learn how to identify and receive this help in a way that empowers your meditation and gives you control.
Week 6 – 31st March – Certainty
There is so much uncertainty in this world, but one thing we can be certain of is that a positive mind creates positive results. Discover how to look at your own experience in order to gain complete confidence in this truth and then never worry again.
Week 7 – 7th April – Progress
It’s relatively easy to set external goals, plan for them and measure your progress. This may seem harder with internal goals, but with guidance it can be done quite easily, allowing us to make realistic, steady progress while remaining happy and encouraged. Learn how in this class.
