A regular drop-in meditation class offering practical instruction on how to enjoy a peaceful, positive mind in modern daily life. Suitable for everyone, including complete beginners. We hope to welcome you soon!
What happens in a class?

Class times: Thursday Evenings, 7:30pm - 9pm with Kadampa teacher Mandy Nicol
Venue: Friends Meeting House, 21 King Street, HEREFORD, HR4 9BX
(Access is via a passage off King Street, adjacent to an estate agent.) Dates: Classes run throughout the year, usually with breaks for the school holidays. See 'upcoming classes' below for current dates.
Facility fee: £6 per class / £3.50 concession (retired, unemployed etc.) including refreshments.
Attend the series or drop in for individual classes. No need to book. |

Thursday 19th April - 'How To Find Delight In A Peaceful Mind'
Peaceful, positive minds bring delight to all areas of our life. In this class we will cultivate confidence in this truth and through this increase our enjoyment in meditation - the cause of lasting peace.
Thursday 26th April - 'How to Develop Confidence In Your Own Meditation Practice'
Discouragement works to obstruct success in all our goals, including developing our peace of mind. In this class we will come to see discouragement as a lie, and so gain confidence in our spiritual strength.
Thursday 3rd May - 'How Meditation Transforms Our World'
All people have the same pure potential for kindness and wisdom. It is because this potential is obscured that our world is filled with suffering. In this class we will learn a practical method for causing our pure potential to grow and to move definitely towards a world filled with peace.
Thursday 10th May - 'How To Receive Help In Your Meditation Practice'
Meditation is a communal activity; in order to succeed we need support and guidance from friends and teachers. In this class we will look at how to develop the essential skill of receiving this help and so steadily progress towards lasting peace.
Thursday 17th May - 'How To Make Meditation Practice Simple'
The most beautiful experiences in life are normally the simplest; children understand this without needing to be taught. In this class we will explore how to ‘be like a child at play’, enjoying our meditation practice with simple delight.
Thursday 24th May - 'How To Really Relax'
‘Am I relaxed yet?’ is a thought that can seriously hinder relaxation! Meditation practice helps us to feel confident in choosing to move into deep and restful relaxation. Discover how in this class.
