What happens in a class?

Venue: Friends Meeting House, 37 Scotts Road, Stourbridge, DY8 1UR
Please note: The venue can be hard to find even though it's just off the ring road. Please see the video at the bottom of this page for very clear directions.
Dates: Classes run throughout the year, usually with breaks for the school holidays. See 'upcoming classes' below for current dates.
Facility fee: £6 per class / £3.50 unwaged including refreshments.
Attend the series or drop in for individual classes. No need to book.
Wednesday, 14th August - What is Meditation Part I
Meditation functions to make the mind peaceful and calm. When our mind is peaceful we are happy, even if our external conditions are poor. In this class we will introduce the basics of meditation and how to begin a regular practice. This class can be taken alone or with part two.

Meditation functions to make the mind peaceful and calm. When our mind is peaceful we are happy, even if our external conditions are poor. In this class we will explore how to take meditation off our cushion or chair and with us into our daily life. This class can be taken alone or with part one.
