Meditation has been used by millions of people over thousands of years, proving itself as a reliable tool for positive inner change. This course will introduce meditation not just as a tool for relaxation, but as a scientific method for inner development which anyone can rely upon to become a happier person. Through gradually applying this ancient inner technology to modern life we will gain control over our experiences, meet daily challenges with kindness and wisdom, and so become increasingly happy and fulfilled.
About our half day courses:
These accessible and highly practical courses include guided meditations and advice on how to create and maintain a peaceful mind in our daily life. They are suitable for beginners or those who want to deepen their understanding of meditation.
The Teacher For This Course:

The principal teacher at Jangchub Ling is Kelsang Khechog. Khechog was ordained in 2006 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. After studying for a number of years on the Teacher Training Programme at the internationally renowned Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre near Derby, Khechog was appointed as the Resident Teacher of JLC in September 2009. Known for his considerate and thoughtful nature, Khechog presents Buddha’s teachings with clarity, showing how to connect these beautiful methods with the realities of modern daily life.
